Greenjets, powering the Future of Flight, led by Anmol Manohar and Guido Monterzino, has raised a $40 million Series A funding round led by Blossom Capital, with participation from the NATO Innovation Fund (NIF), the National Security Strategic Investment Fund (NSSIF), and existing investors including Tanglin Ventures, NSFO Family Office, and others.

The raise marks a major milestone as Greenjets accelerates the development, production, and deployment of the foundational technologies shaping the next generation of aviation.

The announcement follows Greenjets’ selection as one of three companies chosen by the UK Ministry of Defence under the Low-Cost Air Defence Effectors (LCADE) programme to develop a British low-cost drone interceptor. As part of the multinational LEAP initiative, the interceptor is scheduled to enter demonstration trials later this year.

Greenjets develops foundational aerospace technologies spanning propulsion systems, aircraft platforms, and launch technologies. Built on a common technology stack, its integrated approach supports rapid product development, scalable manufacturing, and deployment across multiple aerospace applications, advancing the company’s ambition to become the UK’s next major aerospace prime.

Scaling Aerospace Innovation.

Recent conflicts have highlighted the growing need for affordable, mission-ready aerospace technologies that strengthen air defence and national resilience. Greenjets is addressing this demand through advances in propulsion, aircraft integration, and manufacturing, with multiple technologies progressing toward demonstration trials under UK and international defence programmes.

Over the past year, the company has significantly expanded its UK facilities and workforce as it transitions from research and development to production. Its technology portfolio is supported by intellectual property across propulsion, aircraft integration, and advanced manufacturing, enabling rapid product development and scalable deployment across multiple aerospace applications.

The Series A funding will accelerate production, support the delivery of thousands of systems over the next year, and advance Greenjets’ propulsion, aircraft, and launch technology portfolio. Headquartered in the UK with operations in Germany, the company is also expanding its presence across India, the Middle East, and the United States to meet growing demand for sovereign aerospace technologies.

Greenjets’ leadership and investors emphasized the company’s mission to advance next-generation aerospace technologies while addressing growing defence and aviation needs.

The founding team highlighted that technologies originally developed to shape the future of aviation are now playing an important role in strengthening air defence, improving resilience, and enabling affordable defensive capabilities.

Blossom Capital noted that Greenjets’ propulsion technology delivers advantages in speed, efficiency, low noise, and mission adaptability, making it attractive across a broad range of autonomous aircraft platforms.

NIF emphasized that propulsion has become a critical differentiator in modern defence systems, with Greenjets improving the performance of both unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and counter-UAS platforms through integrated engine and airframe innovation.

NSSIF highlighted the company’s combination of proprietary technology, scalable manufacturing, and long-term dual-use applications across defence and civil aviation, positioning Greenjets to support both national security and future aerospace innovation.
