Sustainable Energy Solutions Platform Tibo Energy Raises €6M Seed Round

Led by Remco Eikhout(CEO), Linda Zandt-Sloot(Head of Data & Research), Renée Müller(Head of Marketing), Jeroen Althusius(COO), Josh Mengerink, Ph.D.(Principal software Architect), Dan Roozemond(Product Lead), and others, Dutch company Tibo Energy has raised €6M Seed round led by Kompas VC with participation from Hitachi Ventures, WEPA Ventures, SET Ventures, and Speedinvest.

Tibo Energy’s AI-powered energy management system, now live at 30+ industrial sites, helps businesses unlock capacity from existing infrastructure—bypassing the need for costly grid upgrades. With grid congestion worsening across Europe, including in Germany and Spain, the need is urgent.

Backed by new funding, Tibo Energy is expanding into Germany and Belgium, growing its team, and adding new EMS features like fleet charging coordination and PowerBI-based visualization.

The platform uses Alice, an AI engine, to optimize energy flows in real-time—updating schedules every five minutes based on live data, price forecasts, and grid limits. It works with any hardware and asset type, ensuring energy is always directed where it creates the most value.
