Quantum Systems, developer of Aerial Intelligence Systems, led by Florian Seibel, Sven Kruck, Matthias Lehna, and Dave Sharpin, and Frontline Robotics, a Ukrainian defence technology company that develops and manufactures robotic systems for Ukraine's security and defence forces, led by Pavlo Kosolapkin and Yevhenii Tretiak, have launched “Quantum Frontline Industries”(QFI), a German-Ukrainian joint venture that will establish Europe’s first fully automated, industrial-scale foreign production line for drones for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Under the Build with Ukraine initiative, the venture will mass-produce battlefield-proven drones from Frontline Robotics in Germany, with all systems delivered to Ukraine’s Defence Forces. Combining Ukrainian combat-tested designs with German industrial automation, the project creates a new cross-border defence co-production model, provides jobs in Germany, and meets NATO standards, with Quantum Systems handling production and Frontline Robotics supplying designs, training, and lifecycle support.

Sven Kruck, Co-CEO of Quantum Systems, said the partnership builds on its support for Ukraine by creating Europe’s first large-scale foreign drone production capacity for Ukrainian forces. Frontline Robotics CEO Yevhen Tretiak added that the joint venture marks the first Ukrainian-German defence collaboration of its kind and will supply thousands of drones to Ukraine’s Defence Forces.

Matthias Lehna, Managing Director of Quantum Frontline Industries, said the joint venture aims to scale production, expand the drone portfolio, and create new products by combining German engineering with Ukrainian urgency. Frontline Robotics’ Mykyta Rozhkov added that partnering with Quantum Systems allows safer, expanded production to meet high frontline demand in Ukraine.

The QFI launch, building on an earlier strategic partnership, marks a step toward a European drone industrial base combining Ukrainian frontline innovation with German engineering. The facility’s location remains undisclosed for security reasons.
