Nopan, an account and wallet payments platform, led by Konstantin Surkov, Nick Ryabov, and the team, has raised €7.2 million to date, including a new funding round led by Newion, with follow-on investment from Crane and Seedcamp and support from a group of angel investors with deep experience in merchant payments and fintech.

Founded by former Netflix payments leaders Konstantin Surkov and Nick Ryabov, Nopan was created to solve a key challenge in digital payments: launching a payment method is easy, but scaling it with the reliability and performance of cards is much harder.

As account and wallet payments gain momentum across Europe, Nopan helps digital businesses access alternative payment methods with the scalability, operational maturity, and performance required for growth.

Scaling account and wallet payments requires more than simple connectivity. Nopan’s infrastructure and optimization layer helps digital businesses and Payment Service Providers improve conversion, reduce costs, and enhance payment performance through smarter routing, bank connectivity, and operational insights.

While traditional payment infrastructure has largely focused on cards, Nopan is building next-generation infrastructure for account and wallet payments, aiming to become the performance platform for businesses scaling these payment methods across Europe.

The company has reached key milestones, including securing its DNB licence in Q4 2025 and joining EPI as a Principal Member to support Wero adoption. With initial customers live and growing enterprise interest, Nopan is positioned to help businesses unlock the potential of account and wallet payments at scale.

“Nopan was founded on the belief that launching a payment method is only the first step. The real challenge lies in optimizing performance across banks, customer behaviors, operational processes, and markets,” said Konstantin Surkov, Co-Founder and CEO of Nopan. “With deep experience in payments, the team understands the value created when payment methods are continuously optimized for scale and reliability.”

“Nopan is addressing a growing need in the payments market,” said Pieter Welten, Partner at Newion. “Account and wallet payments represent a significant opportunity, but the infrastructure required to scale them effectively is still developing. With deep merchant-side payments expertise and a focused technology platform, Nopan is well positioned to become a leading player in the next phase of payments.”

With the backing of Newion, Crane and Seedcamp, Nopan will continue building the infrastructure needed to help digital businesses and Payment Service Providers capture the full potential of account and wallet payments.
