Sema4.ai, the enterprise AI agent company, led by Rob Bearden, Ram Venkatesh, and Paul Codding, has announced the latest release of its Enterprise AI Agent Platform, introducing new capabilities designed to address three of the biggest challenges enterprises face as they move AI agents into production: trusting their output, controlling costs as usage scales, and enabling AI across team-based work.

The release enables teams to share and manage AI agents, skills, memories, data, and files within governed workspaces. It also introduces capabilities to make recurring agent tasks faster, more consistent, and cost-efficient, alongside integration with personal productivity tools such as Claude Cowork to support agent creation, collaboration, and workflow automation.

“Building an AI agent is no longer the hard part. The real challenge is making sure it can perform critical business work consistently, without relying on an AI model to figure out the same task every time,” said Rob Bearden, CEO and Co-Founder of Sema4.ai. “By turning repeatable work into verified, reusable logic, we’re helping enterprises move toward AI agents that become more efficient and predictable as they scale.”

Bringing Trust, Efficiency and Governance to Enterprise AI.

Sema4.ai’s latest platform release shifts repetitive agent tasks from probabilistic AI model generation into customer-reviewed and approved code. This makes outputs consistent for the same inputs while recording every step, allowing teams to verify agent actions and explain their decisions to auditors.

The approach also reduces token consumption and execution time through three capabilities:

  • Verified Queries: Reuses approved data-access patterns, using 80% fewer LLM tokens and delivering 4× faster results than repeated AI-generated queries.

  • Verified Logic: Reuses approved calculations, checks, and transformations, reducing token usage by 50% and execution time by 30% for repeat tasks.

  • Enhanced DataFrames: Enables in-memory calculations across large, structured datasets without sending every row through the model’s context window.

Expanded Collaboration, Integrations and Agent Lifecycle Management.

Key updates to Sema4.ai’s Enterprise AI Agent Platform include:

  • Team-based collaboration: Shared workspaces, agents, skills and files with centralized controls. An improved business catalog built on Data Collections provides shared context across agents, while Memories retain customer-specific rules and policy adjustments for consistent execution.

  • Ecosystem interoperability: Integrations with AI productivity tools such as Claude Cowork and Microsoft Copilot, alongside Microsoft Fabric support. The new Agent Inbox monitors Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace emails, processes webhooks in real time, and routes tasks using natural-language rules.

  • End-to-end lifecycle management: Sai, Sema4.ai’s integrated AI assistant, can recommend improvements to workflows, instructions, skills, and data context based on actual usage. Forensic audit and reporting features provide activity logs with before-and-after changes, agent timelines, search, and filters.

  • Token cost optimization: Runtime-level cost controls help manage spending as usage scales. Enhanced DataFrames also process large structured datasets without passing every row through the model’s context window.

Together, the updates extend Sema4.ai’s platform across the full AI agent lifecycle, from building and deployment to governance, optimization, and auditing.
