Natural is building the foundational payments infrastructure for AI agents.
As AI agents increasingly participate in commerce, a significant share of global payment activity is expected to shift toward autonomous systems over the next decade. The emerging challenge is not whether agents will become financial actors, but which infrastructure providers will enable them to transact globally while maintaining compliance, auditability, and security.
Natural is developing the technology stack designed to support this transition. The company currently has six products live, with three additional products expected to launch in the coming months and four more planned for Q4.
Natural began focusing on agentic payments a year ago, before the category had gained widespread attention. The company’s thesis was that enabling autonomous financial activity would require ownership of the entire payments stack, from core infrastructure to compliance and security layers.
Natural builds and operates foundational payment primitives, including ledgering, money movement, multi-bank settlement, multi-currency infrastructure, fraud and compliance systems, and agent identity and observability capabilities.
Today, Natural supports companies across agent-native commerce, restaurants, hospitality, property management, consumer finance, and business operations. Some customers are creating entirely new payment flows, while others are enabling AI agents to operate as merchants or move and manage money on behalf of businesses and consumers.
The transition from human-executed payments to agent-executed payments is already underway, with autonomous systems expected to play an increasingly important role in global commerce.
Natural’s progress has been driven by co-founders Eric Wang and Walt Leung, who started the company alongside the founding team 342 days ago, and a 17-person team that has moved rapidly to build the company’s infrastructure for the next generation of payments.
