EcoG, empowering the scaling of charging infrastructure and accelerating emission-free mobility, led by Joerg Heuer, Johannes Hund, Sebastian Lucae, Pierdomenico Staglieno, and others, has raised €16 million in a Series B funding round led by GET FundExtantia, and Bayern Kapital.

The fast-charging market for electric logistics and commercial fleets is growing quickly, but fragmented systems still hinder scale and reliability. Munich-based EcoG addresses this with an operating system built to manage and optimise fast-charging hubs.

EcoG CEO and co-founder Jörg Heuer said the new financing highlights the rapid momentum in the market, with EcoG’s technology positioned to drive standardised, efficient charging infrastructure. The company already powers more than 25,000 charging systems globally, underscoring strong adoption across electrified logistics and fleet depots.

Founded by CEO Jörg Heuer and CTO Johannes Hund, EcoG provides a universal operating system that simplifies the deployment and management of fast-charging stations for commercial fleets. Designed for high-power logistics hubs, the modular software integrates hardware, cloud, and backend systems to ensure reliable, interoperable operation. Heuer notes that e-mobility is now entering a phase of professionalised, scalable growth, with companies like Amazon already major charging-point operators.

Unlike competitors such as ChargePoint, EVBox, and ABB, EcoG’s platform supports all major standards (ISO 15118, OCPP, AFIR, NEVI) and prioritises real-world interoperability and megawatt charging readiness. Partnerships with hardware leaders like Siemens and Dover Fueling Solutions strengthen its market position, while a suite of development tools enables manufacturers to prototype and scale reliable charging products quickly.

EcoG will use the new funding to expand internationally and establish a testing and development centre in Bavaria, simulating real-world conditions to refine megawatt and fast-charging hubs alongside industry and logistics partners.

“As an EV driver, I know the reliability and interoperability challenges of charging firsthand. EcoG’s operating system addresses these issues, building a mission-critical platform and becoming an indispensable partner to OEMs,” said Carlota Ochoa Neven Du Mont, Principal at Extantia and EcoG board member.
