e-peas, powering the future with ambient energy, led by Geoffroy Gosset, Julien De Vos, and the team, has announced the successful closing of USD 22-Million in financing led by Crédit Mutuel Innovation, with the support of its Belgian branch, alongside SFPI, the Belgian federal fund. E‑peas’ growth ambition and long-term vision perfectly align with these two investors' strategic objectives. The capital raise also included the continued support of e‑peas’ historic investors, including the European Innovation Council (EIC) as well as Wallonie Entreprendre, KBC Focus Fund, Otium, Nomainvest, The Faktory, and Invest BW.

The investment will support e-peas’ international expansion and strengthen its position in the growing Ambient IoT market. The funding will accelerate commercial growth, support entry into new markets, expand the company’s product portfolio, and meet rising demand for sustainable, battery-free electronic systems. The financing also enabled e-peas to simplify its shareholder structure.

e-peas develops ultra-low-power energy management technology that enables electronic devices to operate using ambient energy sources such as light, radio frequency, vibration, and heat. Its solutions support battery-free or long-life operation across consumer electronics, smart buildings, and industrial IoT applications.

The company’s technology is already deployed in products including solar-powered remote controls, HVAC systems, cameras, and smart tracking devices, helping manufacturers reduce battery usage, lower electronic waste, and improve the total cost of ownership.

Geoffroy Gosset said the funding will accelerate the company’s commercial expansion, entry into new markets, and development of energy-harvesting solutions for a broader range of applications.

Alexis Riou highlighted e-peas’ potential to lead the rapidly growing energy harvesting market while enabling more sustainable and scalable IoT deployments.

Alan Vandenberghe said the investment supports the growth of Belgian deep-tech innovation, citing e-peas’ semiconductor expertise and its role in advancing technologies critical to the energy transition.
