Concept Ventures, the largest dedicated pre-seed fund in Europe, led by Reece Chowdhry, Oliver Kicks, and Jeff Chowdhry, has announced $88 million Fund II, backing Europe’s most ambitious founders at pre-seed. Concept Ventures has backed more than 44 companies, including ElevenLabs, Treefera, VSim, Anam, and Arondite, among others.
Fund II attracts strong founder loyalty, with over 70% of portfolio founders reinvesting, including ElevenLabs’ Mati Staniszewski, Wayve’s Amar Shah, and FACEIT’s Michele Attisani, alongside top-tier institutions like TopTier Capital, Dominus, and Granite Capital, 80% of which are US-based, underscoring global confidence in Europe’s pre-seed ecosystem.
At Concept, pre-seed investing is treated as a specialist craft. With a team entirely from non-VC backgrounds, the firm identifies overlooked talent, asks unconventional questions, and enters markets before they saturate. Its open approach to fundraising ensures founders know what to expect, with 90% experiencing their first VC conversation through Concept.
Fund II will support up to 50 companies across the UK and Europe, with checks up to $1.5M. While sector-agnostic, the focus remains on exceptional founders with global ambitions. More than capital, Fund II reinforces Concept’s people-first philosophy that has defined the firm from day one.
