H1, an AI-driven platform that integrates fragmented healthcare data to identify and match doctors across clinical trials, medical affairs, commercialization, referrals, and patient care, led by Ariel Katz and Ian Sax, has raised a $40M investment in a round led by CVS Health Ventures.

The investment follows several successful collaborations between CVS Health and H1, including an AI model that significantly improved healthcare provider directory accuracy, helping patients find and connect with providers more efficiently.

Justin Brock said that CVS Health is continuing its mission to improve access to care through collaborations that simplify the healthcare experience.

He added that the partnership with H1 is expected to enhance efficiency and improve consumer outcomes by leveraging data and AI capabilities across the healthcare ecosystem.

H1 aims to connect the world to the right doctor through an AI-powered platform that identifies and engages physicians for critical workflows across pharmaceutical companies, health plans, health systems, and healthcare technology firms.

The company reports broad enterprise adoption, with 85% of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies and 9 out of 10 top health plans as customers, and is positioned as a profitable, high-growth business targeting above Rule of 40 performance by 2026.

Ariel Katz said the collaboration with CVS Health supports H1’s mission of connecting patients to the right doctors through improved access and matching. He added that the partnership aims to improve how patients and healthcare providers access care at scale across the U.S. healthcare system.
