Twin, the AI company builder, led by Hugo Mercier & Joao Justi, has announced its launch with a $10M seed round led by LocalGlobe.

Recent tools like Cursor, Claude, and Lovable demonstrate AI’s potential to write software, but most businesses rely on operations, sales, customer management, finances, marketing, and logistics, rather than code. Twin enables users to execute complex workflows in minutes without coding, with some building fully autonomous businesses entirely on the platform.

Community-built agents demonstrate autonomous business operations across industries:

  • Autonomous Trading System: Scans markets, executes trades, manages risk, tracks P&L, and retrains itself—operating like a human-free hedge fund.

  • Autonomous Plumbing Business: Handles calls, classifies emergencies, books jobs, dispatches technicians, updates a CRM, and keeps owners informed—running daily operations independently.

  • Retail Arbitrage Business: Identifies underpriced products, evaluates margins, purchases inventory, and lists items for resale—profiting without human intervention.

  • Autonomous Flower Import Business: Manages wholesale import operations end-to-end, including orders, negotiation, pricing, deliveries, and invoicing.

Most Twin users are non-technical, yet complex workflows that once required teams of engineers can now be built in minutes. Twin handles integrations, error correction, and maintenance autonomously. Agents feature long-term memory that consolidates, prunes, and maintains context across tasks, shared across agents and eventually users, improving efficiency over time. High-reasoning models plan and build, then smaller models execute at one-tenth the cost, enabling 150+ tasks in a single run for under $1. Cloud-based deployment allows instant startup, infinite scaling, and secure remote execution. Twin is now publicly available, with ongoing discoveries from the community.
