Torq, the AI security platform, led by Ofer Smadari, Leonid Belkind, Eldad Livni, and others, has secured a massive $140 million Series D funding round led by Merlin Ventures with participation from all existing investors, including Evolution Equity Partners, Notable Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners, Insight Ventures Partners, and Greenfield Partners, propelling its valuation to $1.2 billion and total funding to $332M. Torq is transforming Security Operations Centers by deploying enterprise-scale, battle-tested AI agents.
The new funding will accelerate the adoption of the Torq AI SOC Platform, the only end-to-end solution combining Hyperautomation, Alert Triage, and Fatigue Reduction to deliver full operational autonomy for enterprises and government agencies. Shay Michel of Merlin Ventures highlighted Torq’s fusion of automation and human judgment as a breakthrough for real-world, large-scale security operations, with the investment aimed at rapid market expansion and establishing a global leadership position in AI-driven SOC solutions.
Torq aims to define and lead the AI SOC market, moving beyond legacy SOAR and SIEM systems by leveraging Agentic AI to deliver reliable outcomes. CEO Ofer Smadari noted that global enterprise adoption has validated the platform, with Fortune 100 customers using AI Agents for investigation and response. The partnership with Merlin Ventures positions Torq to scale into federal and public sector markets.
Torq’s 2025 growth has been driven by widespread adoption of its self-service AI Agents, which allow security teams to deploy sophisticated automation with minimal effort. Torq AI Agents are now integral to Fortune 500 SOCs, autonomously managing millions of security tasks and transforming platforms into the core of modern operations. Valvoline’s CISO Corey Kaemming noted that deployment of automated phishing triage, accelerated alerts, and reduced response times, turning analysts into proactive strategists.
Torq’s partnership with lead investor Merlin Ventures has boosted adoption in U.S. Federal and Public Sector markets. Leveraging nearly 30 years of government experience, Merlin provides strategic support and deep relationships to help Torq navigate compliance, including FedRAMP, and scale the AI SOC Platform to secure critical infrastructure.
The Series D highlights Torq’s market traction and maturity. In 2025, the AI SOC Platform expanded across hundreds of multinational enterprises, including Marriott, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, Siemens, Uber, and Virgin Atlantic, proving its capability for complex, global security environments.
Torq is accelerating the shift to AI-driven security with its Agentic AI foundation. In 2025, the platform solidified its lead through advanced multi-agent capabilities and the strategic acquisition of RevRod. Key features include:
Autonomous Triage and Investigation: Cuts low-fidelity alert investigations by up to 90%, letting analysts focus on high-impact threats.
Self-Service Agentic Platform: Enables SOC teams to manage 100× more alerts without extra headcount, making in-house agent creation an industry standard.
Virgin Atlantic’s CISO John White noted that the platform simplifies and strengthens security operations, delivering complete coverage across the enterprise stack.
