The Medical Travel Company, developing World-class healthcare without the wait, led by Sahil Jain, Ankit Mehrotra, Karan Godinho, and Anamika Sikri, has secured $4.5 million led by Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from 4CAST, an athlete-led collective and investment group cofounded by England cricket stars Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer and Indian cricketing pro KL Rahul.
Bringing deep healthcare expertise, the group will help The Medical Travel Company establish UK doctor–led pathways that give patients access to world-class treatment in India at up to 70% lower costs.
With 7.7 million people in the UK waiting for elective care and private treatment often unaffordable, over 500,000 residents now travel abroad each year for faster, more affordable procedures. Yet, the $100 billion medical tourism industry remains fragmented, opaque, and inconsistent in quality.
Founded by Sahil Jain and Ankit Mehrotra, creators of Dineout (acquired by Swiggy for $200 million), The Medical Travel Company aims to change that by offering transparent, tech-enabled access to trusted global healthcare.
They’re redefining medical travel with UK doctor oversight, world-class accredited hospitals, 12-month post-surgery insurance valid in the UK, and a fully managed, concierge-style patient experience.
