TestSprite, an AI testing agent and automation platform, led by Yunhao Jiao, Rui Li, Shawnie Shan, and others, has secured $6.7 million in seed funding, led by Trilogy Equity Partners, with participation from Techstars, Hat-Trick Capital, Jinqiu Capital, MiraclePlus, Baidu Venture, and EdgeCase Capital Partners.
As AI increasingly writes software, validation must advance just as fast. The scale and complexity of AI-generated code require a new testing infrastructure, one that can keep pace, understand intent, and adapt autonomously.
TestSprite is building the backbone for AI-written software: an autonomous testing agent that understands product intent, generates full test plans, executes frontend and backend tests, diagnoses failures, and proposes fixes to close the loop with coding agents. Through MCP, it plugs directly into IDEs and agentic workflows like Cursor, Windsurf, and Trae, and runs continuously in CI to keep every codebase production-ready.
Already running at scale, the platform serves more than 35,000 users and teams, helping them ship with confidence, increase test coverage, and move from new feature to reliable release faster.
