Founded by Birk Jernstrom(CEO), open source payments platform for Developers and SAAS tools Polar has raised $10 Million in seed funding led by Accel, with continued support from Abstract & Mischief, alongside an exceptional group of angels: Guillermo Rauch (Vercel), Paul Copplestone (Supabase), Tobi Lütke (Shopify), Harley Finkelstein (Shopify), Michael Grinich (WorkOS), Anton Osika (Lovable), Thomas Paul Mann (Raycast), Jorn van Dijk & Koen Bok (Framer), Zeno Rocha (Resend), Jared Palmer (Vercel), Steven Tey (Dub), and Sébastien & Alexandre Chopin (Nuxt).

Since launching v1.0 in September 2024, Polar has become a go-to for thousands of developers, helping grow their revenue by over 120% month-over-month on average. The platform now boasts 17,000+ signups, 16,000+ X followers, 5,300 GitHub stars, and 1,500 active Discord members contributing to its rapid evolution.
