Stilla, the multiplayer AI for teams, led by Siavash Ghorbani and Kaj Drobin, has announced its launch with $5M in Pre-Seed funding led by General Catalyst with participation from the founders & leaders of Elevenlabs (Mati Staniszewski), Lovable (Anton Osika), Shopify (Harley Finkelstein), Legora (Max Junestrand), Synthesia (Victor Riparbelli, Steffen Tjerrild), Sana Labs (Joel Hellermark), Hugging Face (Thomas Wolfe), and more to build the intelligence layer that keeps humans and AI aligned.
AI empowers individuals to accomplish work that once required a team, but team collaboration has lagged behind. Traditional methods, meetings, syncs, and documents are too slow for modern, accelerated workflows.
AI has revealed the new bottleneck: alignment. Automating alignment and delivering it in real time addresses this gap.
AI adoption often creates isolated pockets of intelligence; developers, PMs, and designers each gain AI tools, but organizational alignment lags.
The bottleneck is no longer capability, but context. AI agents can perform work effectively only when equipped with a real-time understanding of decisions, customer issues, and team priorities, a dynamic view of what is being built, why, and by whom.
Stilla enables AI with streaming context, continuous, real-time understanding across meetings, Slack, GitHub, Linear, and other tools. Acting like a teammate present in every interaction, it eliminates the need to re-brief AI agents.
Unlike single-player AI, Stilla provides a shared, multiplayer context that compounds across team members and agents, allowing tasks to be completed with full awareness of team priorities and knowledge, bringing collaboration to AI in the same way Google Docs did for documents.
