SpinLaunch, developer of advanced space solutions, led by Massimiliano Ladovaz, David Wrenn, Matthew Mejía, and others, closed $30 million in funding to accelerate the development and commercialization of Meridian Space, its highly differentiated low-earth orbit (LEO) satellite broadband constellation. The funding includes new investment from existing investors, including lead investor ATW Partners, as well as the previously announced strategic investment from Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace.
With new funding, SpinLaunch is accelerating its go-to-market efforts and targeting its first customer link by the second half of 2026. Early commercial interest highlights rising demand for its cost-effective, open-architecture LEO satcom system designed for flexibility, easy integration, and long-term value.
In its next phase of development, SpinLaunch has completed full-scale testing of its proprietary multi-band reflectarray antenna—an important milestone supporting the constellation’s ultra-low capex design. Unlike traditional satellite antennas, SpinLaunch’s reconfigurable reflectarray is compact, energy-efficient, and scalable, offering a breakthrough solution tailored for next-generation LEO networks.
