Droidrun, the first native mobile agent, led by Niels Schmidt, Timo Beckmann, Peter Lächner, Nikolai Dück, and Christian Ninstel, Droidrun secures €2.1 million led by Merantix Capital, with participation from Sixty Degree Capital and prominent angel investors from the open-source and AI ecosystem, including Peter Sarlin (Co-Founder of Silo AI, acquired by AMD), Philipp Langnickel (angel investor focused on software infrastructure and developer tools), Mandeep Singh (Venture Partner at Hoxton Ventures, former CEO of Trouva), and Felix Jahn (Founder of McMakler and Home24).
Droidrun is building the infrastructure that connects AI systems to mobile platforms—where real business happens. As automated workflows overtake human interactions on mobile, Droidrun enables AI agents to navigate apps, retrieve data, and complete tasks like booking trips or resolving support issues—no taps required. This unlocks automation across enterprise workflows, QA, and customer service. The future of mobile isn’t icons and swipes—it’s agentic UIs and AI-native operating systems. Droidrun is laying the groundwork.
