Mondra, a climate tech platform, led by Jason Barret, Elyn Patrick, Tom Holden, and Marco De Sanctis, has secured £10 million from investors including AlbionVC, Planet A, Swisscom, PeakBridge, Ponderosa Ventures, and Green Circle Foodtech Ventures.

The funding will accelerate Mondra’s expansion across Europe, starting with the Netherlands, Germany, and France, and fuel the development of new capabilities that go beyond emissions tracking to address supply chain disruption and climate risk management.

Volatile supply chains and escalating climate risks are disrupting the global food industry, threatening both affordability and availability. Meanwhile, rising pressure to measure and reduce Scope 3 emissions is forcing food companies to balance supply resilience with ambitious sustainability commitments.

Mondra addresses this challenge with advanced digital twin technology, mapping complex, previously opaque supply chains to track product-level performance from farm to fork. From carbon and environmental impacts to climate-related risks and price volatility, Mondra delivers live insights across dynamic supply networks, seamlessly integrating with the systems used by major retailers, food companies, and their suppliers.

This allows food companies to assess the environmental impact of each product, quantify revenue at risk from climate disruption, generate audit-ready ESG data, model sourcing risks, and engage suppliers with actionable insights. The result: informed decisions to reduce emissions, safeguard margins, and strengthen supply chain resilience.

Mondra was developed in collaboration with the British Retail Consortium (BRC) and its members, including major grocery retailers, suppliers, and global brands. Working alongside NGOs and government partners, this coalition is creating a unified standard for measuring product-level performance, enabling consistent, credible, and comparable insights across the food industry.
