Forus, accelerating medicine for the people, led by Sahir Jaggi and the team, has raised $150 million in Series C financing at a $3 billion valuation, led by Bain Capital Ventures, with every existing institutional investor reinvesting, including Thrive Capital, General Catalyst, Accel, Redpoint, BoxGroup, Pear VC, Avra, Human Capital, Neo, Vast Ventures, and SV Angel. Forus has now raised more than $300 million in total funding to build the AI network for medicine.

Medicine is advancing at an unprecedented pace, from gene therapies and new treatments for depression to cancers that are increasingly becoming manageable long-term conditions. AI is further accelerating drug discovery, but bringing a medicine from discovery to patients can still take more than a decade and billions of dollars.

Building the Network.

Forus builds its network by giving doctors and patients an AI-powered platform to navigate the complex process between prescription and treatment. More than a third of patients prescribed high-cost or complex medicines never receive their first dose, often after weeks or months spent navigating insurance, financial assistance, and fulfillment. Forus assigns an AI agent to every prescription, working across drugs, payers and pharmacies at no cost to doctors and patients.

The agents act like case managers, assessing each patient’s medical, insurance, and financial circumstances, determining the next steps, and handling the portals, documents, calls, and faxes required to move treatment forward. The system learns from millions of cases, improving its ability to manage the wide range of scenarios involved in getting patients from prescription to treatment.

Forus now supports millions of people across all 50 states, reaching patients in 85% of US residential ZIP codes.

With Forus, approvals for these medications come back in less than two days, and patients start treatment within a week or two.
