Doppel, defending your brand and people from social engineering attacks, led by Kevin Tian, Rahul Madduluri, Mike Ferrari, Bobby Ford, and others, has secured $70M Series C, led by returning investors Bessemer Venture Partners alongside Andreessen Horowitz, South Park Commons, Script Capital, 9Yards Capital, Sozo Ventures, and Strategic Cyber Ventures. In addition, new investors include George Kurtz, CEO of CrowdStrike, NTT DOCOMO Ventures, Aurum Partners, the investment fund affiliated with the owners of the San Francisco 49ers, and other strategic LPs, and a group of athlete investors led by WNBA players Nneka Ogwumike, Breanna Stewart, and Kelsey Plum, who joined the round through the a16z Cultural Leadership Fund.
The round comes six months after a Series B at 3x the prior valuation. In that time, the company launched its HRM product with vibe-phishing simulations and AI-generated SAT content, saw rapid Fortune 500 adoption across major industries, earned multiple industry awards, was featured in an OpenAI case study on RFT for cybersecurity automation, and completed a full brand and digital refresh to reflect its leadership in Social Engineering Defense.
The key message from this announcement is clear: the journey has only begun. Doppel remains focused on protecting the world from social engineering attacks, with R&D efforts still at the early stages of a much larger innovation roadmap for the expanding SED platform. GTM teams are scaling globally to support organizations across industries as demand accelerates. The new funding will strengthen the core team to meet this surge.
Social engineering has become one of the most critical challenges in the post-AI era. Most organizations are unprepared for the volume and sophistication of AI-generated deception now targeting them. Doppel’s mission is to safeguard these organizations, their employees, and their customers by staying ahead of these evolving threats. This fundraise enables significant progress toward that mission.
