Aampere, a Munich-based e-mobility startup, led by Florian Reister, and the team, has raised €4.2 million to expand its fully digital resale platform for used electric cars across Europe. The round is led by Estonian VC Trind Ventures. Joining the round is Vend Marketplaces ASA, the Nordic family of marketplaces behind FINN.no, Blocket and Bilbasen, which joins as a minority investor. Also newly on board is G-FUND, an investor focused on major consumer trends. The existing investors around GIMIC are increasing their stakes as well; in addition, experienced business angels from the automotive industry are participating.
Vend Mobility believes accelerating EV adoption across the Nordics is creating growing inventory imbalances in the used EV market. The company sees Aampere's technology-driven transaction platform as a scalable solution to address this challenge and is supporting its expansion as a minority investor.
While electric vehicle adoption is accelerating across Europe, the used EV market remains fragmented, slow, and largely dependent on manual processes. Aampere aims to solve this challenge by building a fully digital, pan-European marketplace that enables faster and more transparent EV resale.
The platform combines AI-powered pricing, digital vehicle inspections, history checks, logistics, and dealer auctions to help sellers complete transactions within 48 hours. By creating better infrastructure for the secondary EV market, Aampere aims to accelerate broader electric mobility adoption across Europe.
Aampere’s model has gained traction quickly, with the company now selling several thousand electric vehicles annually, quadrupling revenue over the past year, and growing its team to more than 25 employees. The platform’s focus on speed and simplicity has earned strong customer feedback, with sellers rating the service 4.9 stars on Google.
With new funding and strategic partners, Aampere plans to accelerate its European expansion. The opportunity is supported by broader market trends, with used EV ownership transfers in Germany growing by around 60% annually over the past three years despite uncertainty in the automotive market.
The new funding will help Aampere scale both sides of its marketplace, expanding acquisition channels and partnerships to bring more EVs onto the platform while growing its dealer network and entering new European markets.
Backed by continued support from existing investors and new partners, Aampere aims to become the leading platform for Europe's used electric vehicle market by solving a key challenge: making EV resale faster, more transparent, and more accessible.
