Led by Matt Angle(Founder & CEO), James Burrows(Chief Operating Officer), Vikash Gilja(Chief Scientific Officer), Reema Khan(Chief Strategy Officer), Stephen Ryu(Chief Medical Officer), And Kurtis Nishimura(Chief Technology Officer), Brain-Computer Interface Company Successfully Implants its Connexus BCI, signaling its entry into clinical-stage operations and intensifying the race among neurotech innovators.

Paradromics has completed its first successful human test of the Connexus brain-computer interface. The dime-sized device, implanted temporarily during epilepsy surgery, recorded high-resolution neural signals from the temporal lobe. The 20-minute procedure confirmed both safety and performance, marking a key step toward helping patients with paralysis or ALS communicate via decoded brain signals.

Paradromics’ Connexus BCI records brain signals at the level of individual neurons, offering higher precision than rivals like Neuralink. After successful preclinical trials, the company plans to begin long-term human studies later this year, pending FDA approval.
