GCP Announces First and Final Close of Fund VI at £411 Million

Led by Partners Garrett Curran(Managing Partner), James Blake(Managing Partner), Kirsty McDonald, Richard Shaw, Alex Thomson, Ravi Monteiro, Growth Capital Partners has announced First and Final Close of Fund VI at £411 Million. Rede Partners served as global fundraising advisor, with Macfarlanes LLP providing legal counsel.

Launched in late March, the fund closed in just three months, surpassing its £350M target and hitting its hard cap. Oversubscribed and 58% larger than Fund V, it attracted strong backing from new LPs in Europe and the US, as well as significant support from existing investors.

Fund VI will extend GCP’s strategy of backing high-growth, founder-led businesses rooted in intellectual capital. It builds on strong momentum from Fund V, which in 2025 has already seen major exits—including a 9.3x return from Bridewell—and now ranks in the top 5% of its vintage with 0.9x DPI.
