Fundcraft Secures €12m Strategic Growth Financing to Scale Digital Fund Operations Infrastructure for European Alternative Investment Funds

Fundcraft, Europe’s digital fund operations provider for alternative investment funds, led by Julien De Mayer, Olga Porro, and Christian Senitz, has announced that it has secured €12 million in strategic growth financing co-led by Riverside Acceleration Capital (“RAC”) and CCAP Investments (“CCAP”), with participation from existing investors including 3VC, MiddleGame Ventures and Aperture Capital. The new financing brings Fundcraft’s total capital secured since its founding to €40 million, reinforcing its position among Europe’s best-capitalised digital fund operations providers for alternative investment funds.
The financing deepens Fundcraft’s existing partnership with Riverside Acceleration Capital (RAC), the growth-stage investment strategy of The Riverside Company. Following RAC’s earlier support for fundcraft’s expansion into France, the new capital and operational resources will support the company’s next phase of international growth.
The round comes as fund operations reach a digital inflection point, with nearly four in five asset servicers citing manual workflows and lack of standardisation as their main operational challenges. Fundcraft addresses these issues through a digital operating model combining workflow automation and AI. Its platform now supports more than 20,000 LP subscriptions across nearly 300 funds.
In the first half of 2026, Fundcraft signed as many new clients as during the whole of 2025, driven by successful large-scale fund migrations and continued up-market traction. More than half of new clients were mid-to-large alternative asset managers modernising their operating models or complex, multi-jurisdictional private market access platforms.
The financing will support fundcraft’s expansion across existing European markets and additional jurisdictions, while deepening capabilities in institutional private equity buyout strategies. It will also accelerate the company’s AI strategy, expanding data foundations and AI-enabled workflows across investor, fund, and portfolio operations to make complex private market strategies more scalable, transparent, and efficient.
Fundcraft’s expansion into France has progressed from regulatory approval to commercial execution. Following its Luxembourg implementation, Fundcraft Group received a separate French AIFM licence from the AMF in June 2026 and has since been mandated to support several French fund launches targeting more than €1 billion in combined commitments and subscriptions.
The French platform also supports high-volume Private Markets Access structures, including ELTIF 2.0, evergreen and open-ended funds for multi-distributor and cross-border distribution. Fundcraft is also increasingly supporting parallel fund structures across Luxembourg, France, the US, and Spain.
Julien De Mayer, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer at fundcraft, said:
“We are raising capital to scale a model that is already proving itself with institutional clients facing more complex requirements across Europe. The fact that nearly one-third of new fund mandates committed to fundcraft in the first six months of 2026 came from existing clients is an important validation: managers are not only choosing fundcraft, they are growing with us. Our approach is to start addressing the needs and complexities of the Buyout asset manager and implement our proven operating model organically across jurisdictions without stitching together disconnected platforms or service models.”
Christian Stein, Senior Partner at Riverside Acceleration Capital, added:
“We see first-hand the operational challenges that increasing complexity in private markets creates for asset managers, investors and service providers. Fundcraft brings a differentiated operating model for this environment, using integrated technology and AI to deliver a superior client and investor experience at scale. We have been particularly impressed by its approach to AI, applying automation and intelligence to core fund operations rather than treating it as a separate layer. We are excited to deepen our partnership as the company scales across Europe and new asset classes.”
Olga Porro, Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer at fundcraft, said:
“Our roadmap has been shaped by operational complexity. To support our operations expert team and digital platform, we are embedding automation and AI-assisted capabilities into the workflows, controls and data foundations that make complex funds scalable, from investor onboarding and transfer agency to reporting, waterfall calculations and cross-border distribution. The objective is to make fund operations more controlled, transparent, and economically viable at scale.”
Christopher Caesar, Founding and Managing Partner at CCAP, added:
“Fundcraft digitalises the entire fund lifecycle on one data layer — structuring, onboarding, administration, reporting, compliance. Data is captured once and becomes the single source of truth in an industry defined by fragmentation. That foundation is what makes technology and AI a growth engine; every process brought onto the platform widens what can be automated next. But what ultimately convinced us is the team. Julien, Olga, and Christian combine deep fund operations expertise with real product discipline, a rare pairing in this market. We are backing fundcraft to become the critical infrastructure for the next phase of digital fund operations in Europe and beyond.”
