Fulcrum, building best-in-class AI tools & agents for insurance brokerages, led by Arjun Mangla and Sambhav Anand, has raised $25 million in combined Seed and Series A funding led by CRV, alongside South Park Commons, Foundation Capital, and a group of angels from both insurance and technology.
Insurance enables people and businesses to take bold risks by making loss survivable and innovation possible through shared risk. It underwrites much of modern economic activity, making it one of the most foundational and important industries in the world.
This milestone provides resources to deepen integration with insurance systems and build technology aligned with real broker workflows.
Insurance is defined by complex constraints, nuanced interpretation, and rigorous conditions, yet brokerage workflows often fail to reflect this underlying complexity.
Account managers spend significant time on manual, fragmented tasks that keep operations running. AI is well-suited to handle work requiring constant attention and coordination, freeing managers to focus on client relationships and judgment-driven advisory. Leading U.S. brokerages are already using Fulcrum to automate thousands of hours of manual work daily.
The effort to build the next generation of insurance brokerages is still in its early stages, requiring deep integration with complex systems and a strong focus on the people who depend on them daily.
