Led by Philippe Notton(CEO & Founder), Ying-Chih Yang(Chief Technical Officer), Gael Paul(Senior Vice-President, Engineering), Craig Prunty(Vice-President, Product Marketing), and others, SiPearl announced closing of Series A financing round of €130 million financing round with a third and last tranche of €32m. This is the largest Series A in the European fabless semiconductor industry, with the third tranche participated by 2 existing investors, the European Innovation Council (EIC) Fund and the French State, via French Tech Souveraineté, and a third and new investor, Taiwanese Cathay Venture

SiPearl has completed Rhea1, the most advanced processor ever designed in Europe, featuring 80 Arm Neoverse V1 cores and over 61 billion transistors. Now in manufacturing with TSMC, Rhea1 supports both HPC and AI inference workloads with exceptional performance and energy efficiency. It will power JUPITER, Europe’s first exascale supercomputer, and play a key role in strategic European projects across cloud, simulation, and scientific research, advancing the region’s technological sovereignty.

The Series A funding will support the industrialization of Rhea1 and accelerate R&D for next-generation processors targeting supercomputing, data centers, AI, and enterprise markets, laying the groundwork for an upcoming Series B raise.
