Empromptu, creating accurate AI applications automatically, led by Dr. Sean Robinson and Shanea Leven, has secured $2 million in funding, led by Precursor Ventures, with participation from Alumni Ventures, Founders Edge, Rogue Women VC, South Loop, and Zeal Capital, as well as angel investor Edith Harbaugh, Co-founder of LaunchDarkly.
Shanea Leven, Founder and CEO of Empromptu, remarked:
“SaaS apps shouldn’t need rewrites to become intelligent; they should modernize in place with self-improving logic and Provable AI that adapts to a company’s data and context. As businesses race to adopt AI, Empromptu is delivering the infrastructure that enables AI to operate safely, predictably, and profitably, the bridge between today’s scripted prompts and tomorrow’s autonomous software.”
Empromptu’s latest release adds three enterprise-grade innovations: Infinite Memory, an Adaptive Context Engine, and Custom Data Models. Built on its proprietary optimization stack, the system lets companies generate AI models from their own business context rather than generic datasets. These applications self-train, auto-correct accuracy drift, retain long-term context, and remain usable by teams without technical expertise.
With production accuracy reaching up to 98%, the update marks a major step toward AGI. More than 2,000 companies across SaaS, physical AI, cybersecurity, ecommerce, education, healthcare, HR, IT, and social platforms are already integrating Empromptu into their workflows.
MIT research shows 95% of AI pilots fail to reach production due to reliability issues. Prototype tools like Lovable, Replit, and Bolt help teams build demos, but they don’t scale without major rewrites.
Empromptu fixes this by baking evaluation, optimization, and observability into every AI app, turning existing codebases into self-learning, production-ready systems in days.
“SaaS apps shouldn’t need a rewrite to become intelligent,” said Shanea Leven, Founder and CEO of Empromptu. “We’re building the infrastructure that lets AI run itself safely and predictably.”
“The next wave of intelligence comes from systems that actually learn,” added Charles Hudson of Precursor Ventures. “Empromptu gives businesses a practical path to get there first.”
The path to AGI runs through reliability, rapid iteration, and systems that understand their own limits. With Infinite Memory and the Adaptive Context Engine, Empromptu enables AI that knows what to focus on, what to ignore, and how to recombine ideas. The vision: AI that mirrors human cognition, refining context, synthesizing across it, zooming in, zooming out, and eventually moving from thinking to understanding.
