Cursor's Parent Company Anysphere Raises $900 Million At $9.9 Billion Valuation.

Co-founded by Aman Sanger, Sualeh Asif(Chief Product Officer), Michael Truell(CEO), & Arvid Lunnemark, AI Coding Platform Cursor's Parent Company Anysphere has raised $900 Million led by Thrive Capital, with participation from Andreessen Horowitz, Accel, and DST Global, securing a valuation of whopping $9.9 Billion.
This is Anysphere's third fundraise in less than a year, following their last fundraise of $100 Million late last year. Cursor is a category leader in the AI coding platforms with other leading players like Github's Co-Pilot, Windsurf, Anthropic's Claude Code, Replit & other players in the race. Anysphere has surpassed $500 Million in ARR according to Bloomberg's sources.
They were approached by Open AI among other buyers earlier this year but the offers were declined by Anysphere.
