Boost VC, a pre-seed deep-tech venture fund led by Adam Draper, Maddie Callander, Gus Domel, PhD, Emily Yu, Danielle Sosnick, Derek B., and Alex San Agustin, has announced a $87 million fund to boost the future, from nuclear energy to genetics to space travel. Boost VC backs frontier founders across deep tech. Portfolio highlights include Coinbase ($80B public company), Radiant Nuclear (first new reactor design in 50 years), Colossal Biosciences ($10.2B valuation, de-extinction), DeepGram (Voice AI leader), K2 Space (scaling satellites), and Volley (AI games in 30M+ homes).
The firm’s portfolio now spans 400 active companies across the Deep Tech landscape. Earlier funds have delivered strong results: Fund Alpha ($6.5M, 2013) achieved a 2.15× DPI and a 6.24× TVPI, while Fund I ($38M, 2016) reached a 4.35× DPI and a 7.02× TVPI.
