IVEX, a deep-tech company whose safety-testing technology is used in official vehicle assessments, led by Mario Torres and the team, is bringing its NCAP Evaluator software to NVIDIA Halos SAFE (Safety Assurance Framework for Evaluation), expanding the safety evaluation capabilities available within NVIDIA's autonomous-driving ecosystem. The software helps developers evaluate and score simulated and real driving tests against NCAP protocols, enabling them to compare safety performance and generate traceable evidence for safety assessments.

As automated driving systems grow more complex, simulation increasingly complements physical testing in vehicle safety evaluation. NVIDIA Halos SAFE supports this process by assessing driving performance against safety requirements and evaluating simulation credibility against physical test results.

IVEX’s NCAP Evaluator applies protocol-based scoring and data validation to simulation and physical test outputs, enabling consistent assessments and traceability. The integration helps identify discrepancies requiring further validation while retaining human oversight.

The development extends IVEX’s established vehicle assessment expertise into automated-driving evaluation, building on its role as a trusted Euro NCAP technology supplier.
