CapitalOS, a money orchestration layer for B2B platforms, led by Nir Dremer and Matan Goldschmiedt, has announced $21.9M in Series A funding led by LGVP, along with WEX Venture Capital, Group 11, Great North Ventures, Night Capital, and existing investors. CapitalOS allows any platform to quickly offer its users and agents world-class financial products, including credit cards, wallets, bill pay, and more.

The Platform Payment Problem: Expensive and Complicated Payment Buildouts.

Launching business credit cards or bill-pay features requires software platforms to manage complex financial infrastructure, including banking integrations, underwriting, fraud prevention, compliance, and transaction reconciliation. These capabilities demand specialized expertise and ongoing engineering resources, diverting focus from core product innovation to essential but undifferentiated financial operations.

"CapitalOS gave us the robust, yet flexible infrastructure we needed to launch a card product that is 10x better than any traditional banking platform, embedding it directly into our users' daily operations,” said Jonathan Ferber, Head of Business Programs Operations at Guesty, a CapitalOS customer.

CapitalOS’s Solution: Launch Spend Management & Bill Pay in Days.

CapitalOS enables platforms to launch embedded spend management and bill-pay solutions in days, automating complex financial operations and minimizing ongoing engineering overhead. The infrastructure supports rapid product expansion while delivering reliable financial capabilities from day one.

Key features include:

  • Underwriting Agent: Approves eligible businesses and adjusts credit limits based on activity.

  • Capital Agent: Funds transactions and dynamically manages capital availability.

  • Compliance Agent: Automates onboarding, verification, licensing, and monitoring.

  • Risk & Fraud Agent: Detects suspicious activity in real time and proactively prevents fraud.

  • Support Agent: Manages payment-related customer support across phone, text, and email.

“We’ve followed Nir and the team for a while, and their deep domain expertise has always stood out,” stated Itai Tsiddon, General Partner at LGVP. “The best B2B platforms act on their customers’ behalf, and few actions matter more than financial ones. CapitalOS lets them launch financial products in days, and with more than 10x growth as AI accelerates demand, we’re excited to lead this round and partner with CapitalOS.”

“As AI enables B2B platforms to do more for their customers, it’s also creating opportunities to use operational data in more meaningful ways, including anticipating financial needs and improving how money moves through a business,” said Jay Dearborn, chief operating officer, international, and chief strategy officer at WEX. “What makes CapitalOS compelling is its approach to connecting that intelligence with the financial infrastructure businesses need, without requiring platforms to build and manage that complexity themselves. That’s the kind of opportunity WEX Venture Capital looks for: technology that solves a real business problem and makes sophisticated financial capabilities more accessible to the companies that need them.”

“Vertical SaaS & AI platforms are experts in their domains, not building payments infrastructure,” explained Nir Dremer, Co-Founder and CEO of CapitalOS. “Our goal is to build the best financial infrastructure, so any platform company can offer their end customers world-class financial products.”

CapitalOS was founded by Nir Dremer and Matan Goldschmidt, who bring experience across fintech and consumer platforms. Dremer previously served as a GM at Stripe and Tipalti, where he identified the opportunity to deliver financial products through existing business platforms. Goldschmidt helped build products at Lyft after the acquisition of a company he founded. CapitalOS now orchestrates billions in transaction volume, marking 1,000% growth over the past 18 months.
