Led by Dejan Davidovikj(Co-founder & CEO), Konstantin Mertsalov(Co-founder & CTO), and Derek Roos(Advisor), Balthazar has raised a €1.2 million round led by CapitalT, with participation from the global early-stage VC Antler. The total includes earlier support from Antler and a mix of Dutch innovation funders.
Balthazar is building an intelligent, real-time workspace for deep tech R&D, replacing fragmented tools and manual coordination with a unified platform. Engineers can design, run, and monitor experiments from their browser, integrate lab instruments, and manage all prototype data in one place, enabling faster, scalable, and reproducible hardware development.
