Founded & led by Chris Urmson(Chairman), Sterling Anderson(Chief Product Officer), & Dr. Drew Bagnell(Chief Scientist), Aurora becomes the first company to deploy commercial heavy duty trucks in US. Aurora began running their self driving truck fleet with first customer Hirschback Motor Lines & Uber Fleet and plans to roll out more fleet by owning, maintaining & insuring their trucks by themselves.
