Julius AI, a Data Science Platform Leveraging AI, founded by Rahul Sonwalkar, announced a fundraise of $10 million from Bessemer Venture Partners, Y Combinator, Horizon VC, AI Grant, 8VC, and the founders of companies like Notion, Vercel, Replit, Perplexity, Intercom, Dropbox, Zapier, and Twilio.

In just two years, Julius has powered the creation of over 10 million data visualizations—turning business questions into actionable answers, not just charts. Behind every insight, Julius writes four million lines of code daily, yet users never touch a line—no programming required.

Julius is used by organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to early-stage startups, all seeking one thing: speed to insight. A hospitality firm forecasts across 87,500+ properties in minutes. A hedge fund models currency shifts between meetings. A legal tech company’s finance team tracks real-time metrics instead of reconciling spreadsheets after the fact.

Business schools have also taken notice. Harvard Business School recently featured Julius in its required "Data Science and AI for Leaders" course for over 900 students. Rice University Business School devotes multiple course units to teaching it. Just as Excel became essential in the 1990s, Julius is becoming foundational for today’s business leaders.

Julius Teams enables fast, secure collaboration with tools designed for both power users and broader teams. Notebooks allow advanced users to iterate and automate complex analyses while keeping results accessible to others. Direct warehouse connections to platforms like PostgreSQL, BigQuery, and Snowflake ensure data remains in place, while insights move seamlessly across the organization.
