AI-Powered Clinical Workflow Platform Tandem Health Raises $50 Million in Series A

Led by AI & Healthcare fanatics Lukas Saari(CEO And Co-Founder), Oliver Astrand(CTO And Co-Founder), Oscar Boldt-Christmas(CCO And Co-Founder), Björn Zoega(Medical Advisor), Pär-Jörgen Pärson(Board Member), And Markus Lingman(Medical Advisor), Stockholm based Tandem Health has raised $50 million in Series A funding, led by Kinnevik, with support from Northzone, Amino Collective, and Visionaries Club.

Tandem’s AI assistant is used by tens of thousands of clinicians across Europe to generate real-time clinical notes—no typing, no delay. In the UK, over 200,000 NHS professionals access the technology through a partnership with Accurx, making it one of the largest healthcare AI deployments worldwide. Beyond automation, the goal is to enable care that feels more personal, focused, and human.

Tandem began with clinical documentation, addressing one of the heaviest burdens in healthcare. But the mission goes further: building an AI-native operating system that supports the entire clinical workflow. This includes capturing accurate clinical codes, coordinating care, and delivering decision support at the point of need. The focus isn’t on replacing clinicians, but on removing friction—quietly and respectfully—so attention stays where it’s needed most.
