Waniwani, the leading revenue and compliance infrastructure for the agentic distribution of financial services, led by Maxime Antoine, Robin Diligent, Raphaël Vullierme, and Luiza Gusmao, has raised $8 million in seed funding led by Seedcamp, with participation from Redstone, Plug & Play, Zone II Ventures, OPRTRs Club, and Kima Ventures alongside a group of prominent angel investors.
Waniwani has already become the infrastructure of choice for global financial institutions navigating the shift to AI-driven distribution, setting the standard for how service vendors are discovered, converted, and kept compliant as AI increasingly assumes the role of the buyer.
Building Distribution for the AI Era.
Consumers and businesses are increasingly using AI to make financial decisions. From ChatGPT and Claude to embedded copilots and procurement platforms, AI is becoming a key participant in purchasing decisions, particularly in complex sectors such as insurance, lending, and mortgages. As a result, traditional distribution channels built for human buyers are becoming less effective.
To address this shift, Waniwani has launched an open-source SDK that enables service vendors to offer products and quotes directly through AI applications, websites, and messaging platforms such as WhatsApp. Available at no cost, the technology is designed to help vendors reach customers in an increasingly AI-driven marketplace.
According to Robin Diligent, co-founder and CEO of Waniwani, the shift toward AI-driven distribution is irreversible. The company's goal is to provide service vendors with a comprehensive open-source infrastructure for reaching customers through AI-powered channels. Beyond deploying conversational agents, the platform is designed to help vendors attract traffic, optimize conversion funnels, maximize revenue, and maintain compliance with local regulations as buyer behavior increasingly moves toward AI-driven interactions.
From Agent Deployment to Revenue Optimization.
After sales agents are deployed, Waniwani’s infrastructure enables financial institutions to maintain regulatory and brand compliance, simulate market conditions, measure performance across the entire customer funnel, and optimize pricing, messaging, and revenue outcomes. The platform also provides capabilities focused on trust, security, and anti-scraping protection.
The model has already gained traction among major financial services organizations. Waniwani first attracted attention in the insurance sector through the technology powering Tuio’s ChatGPT app, the first AI application to enable insurance quoting within ChatGPT. The launch significantly increased the company’s visibility and helped establish an early lead in the emerging market for AI-driven financial distribution.
