TensorWave, the cloud built for the next wave of AI, led by Darrick Horton, Piotr Tomasik, Jeff Tatarchuk, and the team, has raised $350 million in Series B funding, co-led by Magnetar and AMD Ventures, with continued participation from Maverick Silicon, Nexus Venture Partners, and Western Frontier.

Expanding AMD-Powered AI Infrastructure.

The new funding will help TensorWave expand its global AI compute footprint, including deployment of next-generation AMD Instinct™ MI355X GPU clusters optimized for memory-intensive workloads such as large language model training, high-throughput inference, and generative AI applications.

As demand for AI compute continues to grow, TensorWave is positioning itself as an alternative to capacity-constrained, vertically integrated GPU ecosystems by offering high-bandwidth infrastructure built on an open hardware stack.

The platform is already being used by emerging AI companies including Fireworks AI and Luma AI, which rely on TensorWave's AMD-based infrastructure to support large-scale model training and production AI inference workloads.

“The next phase of AI will be defined by who can access enough compute to move from experimentation to production. This investment allows us to expand deployment of AMD Instinct MI355X GPUs and continue building an open, AMD-powered foundation for production AI.”

Darrick Horton, CEO & Co-Founder, TensorWave

“TensorWave is well positioned to help enterprises scale AI deployments with high-performance, AMD-powered compute. Their commitment to open, flexible infrastructure aligns strongly with the AMD ecosystem.”

Sagi Paz, Head of AMD Ventures

Rapid Expansion Since Series A.

Since its Series A in 2025, TensorWave has grown rapidly, building one of North America's largest AMD-based AI training clusters with 8,192 AMD Instinct MI325X GPUs currently online.

The company is now preparing larger MI355X GPU deployments across multiple new data center regions and has secured more than 2 gigawatts of long-term data center capacity to support rising demand from enterprises, research organizations, and AI-native companies.

As part of its expansion, TensorWave is also investing in its Las Vegas headquarters and plans to grow its teams across engineering, infrastructure, operations, sales, and customer success.

“The most ambitious AI builders need infrastructure that can keep pace with them at a scale very few providers can deliver. This funding strengthens our ability to provide reliable, scalable compute for demanding production workloads, expand our global footprint, and continue building a world-class team in Las Vegas.”

Piotr Tomasik

“The rapid growth of AI has created strong demand for infrastructure providers that can deliver compute capacity quickly and reliably. TensorWave's partnership with AMD and its operational execution position the company to become a leading provider of AMD-based AI infrastructure for next-generation workloads.”
