Strangeworks, the leading provider of quantum and high-performance computing software, led by William Hurley, Dylan Miracle, Justin Youens, Steven Gibson, Casey Barthels, David Cardona, Jessica Ponds, and others, has acquired Quantagonia, a platform to help companies make better decisions in less time with DecisionAI, led by Dirk Zechiel, Philipp Hannemann, Prof. Dr. Sebastian Pokutta, Prof. Dr. Sabina Jeschke, Dr. Thomas Kleinert, and Matthias Wulff. The merger combines Strangeworks’ quantum-AI infrastructure with Quantagonia’s optimization and HybridSolver technology, creating a powerful platform that empowers teams to solve complex computational problems using classical, hybrid, and quantum approaches.

The acquisition expands global reach, strengthens presence in Europe, and unites two teams with a proven track record. It removes long-standing barriers to applied AI, enabling non-technical users to solve complex planning problems across industries, unlocking new markets and empowering a broader audience than ever before.

Quantagonia’s core technologies, an advanced solver orchestration engine and AI-powered decision-making tools, eliminate traditional complexity in optimization. By combining parallel solver management with natural language interfaces powered by LLMs, non-technical experts can independently solve intricate planning problems without deep programming or mathematical knowledge.

With Quantagonia’s presence in Munich and Frankfurt, the combined company strengthens its global reach across the U.S., Europe, and APAC. Supported by top-tier investors like IBM, Hitachi Ventures, and Lux, the company is expanding access to advanced computing solutions for enterprises around the world.
