StirlingX, a sovereign intelligence platform turning multi-sensor data into critical insight, led by Dean Jones and the team, has announced a $20m Series A led by Ventura Capital and RCM Private Markets Master Fund managed by Rokos Capital Management US (LP).
Chaired by the former Director of GCHQ, StirlingX is tackling one of modern national security's most pressing challenges: enabling the secure capture and rapid use of high-value data across complex and contested environments.
The company develops AI-powered sensing and intelligence systems for defence and critical infrastructure, with applications spanning infrastructure monitoring, surveying and mapping, and the detection and countering of hostile drones.
StirlingX was founded within GALLOS Technologies, a venture studio and investor that builds next-generation security technology companies drawing on decades of intelligence, defence, and national security expertise.
StirlingX plans to use the funding to expand its sovereign data intelligence platform across defence agencies and operators of critical national infrastructure.
“We are building a category-defining sovereign data intelligence company. This funding will accelerate growth alongside new and existing partners across defence ministries, agencies, and critical infrastructure,” said Dean Jones, Founder and CEO of StirlingX.
Chairman Sir Jeremy Fleming added that the ability to securely capture, fuse, and act on data is becoming a critical strategic advantage, positioning StirlingX to develop a uniquely British capability with significant national and international potential.
Lead investor Ventura Capital highlighted StirlingX's combination of technical expertise, trusted relationships, and execution, while existing investor Rokos Capital Management reaffirmed its support as the company enters its next phase of growth.
