Founded by Michael Louis(CEO) and Jonathan Irwin(CTO), Cerebrium raised $8.5 million in a seed round led by Gradient, with participation from Y Combinator, Authentic Ventures, and several strategic angels and operators. The company plans to use this funding to meet growing enterprise demand and accelerate development of its core platform.

Cerebrium powers leading AI companies like Tavus, Deepgram, and Vapi with a high-performance platform built for real-time, multimodal workloads—voice agents, video models, LLM fine-tuning, and large-scale analytics.

Known for its serverless GPU infrastructure, Cerebrium also supports batching, multi-region deployments, and elastic scaling, allowing teams to run compute-heavy workloads with minimal setup and cost, while meeting strict security and data residency standards.
