Resistant AI, a cutting-edge AI platform to outsmart criminals, led by Jan Stiborek, Jan Jusko, Tomáš Laube, Martin Rehak, Karel Bartoš, Josef Stach, Martin Grill, Martin Vejman, and Lukáš Machlica, has secured a $25 million Series B funding round led by DTCP, with strong participation from existing investors including Experian, GV, and Notion Capital, who are doubling down on their investment.
The company, which reached breakeven in September, will use the capital to strengthen its position as a profitable European AI leader. The funds will support the expansion of its document fraud detection and transaction monitoring solutions into new markets and partnerships, while also advancing its threat intelligence capabilities.
The new funding arrives as the anti-fraud and regtech landscape shifts toward agentic solutions that replace static workflows with smarter, more cost-effective approaches. Yet, large language model-based agents face limitations: they struggle with quantitative risk analysis critical for combating fraud and financial crime, exhibit high hallucination rates of 10–30%, and remain challenging to secure against adversarial manipulation.
Resistant AI helps overwhelmed fraud, risk, and compliance teams by detecting threats across documents, transactions, and behaviors. Leveraging signals from existing risk tech stacks, it significantly improves recall, precision, and decision-making, tackling sophisticated crimes like APP fraud, synthetic identities, money muling, AI-driven document fraud, and complex money laundering.
Financial crime is accelerating with AI, as 35% of businesses report GenAI-related fraud. Fraud-as-a-Service markets now offer 160,000+ pre-verified accounts from 3,000+ institutions, driving APP scams that have cost the economy a trillion dollars. With global regulators tightening rules, advanced detection has never been more urgent.
Since Series A, Resistant AI’s annual recurring revenue has grown 10x, with a 4x increase in its customer base. The platform has become the leading AI-driven solution for document fraud detection, verifying over 150 million documents and analyzing transactions for fraud and AML at 100x the previous scale, as demand in financial services surges.
The company continues to safeguard a growing roster of global financial institutions, fintechs, and enterprises, including Dun & Bradstreet, Payoneer, Close Brothers, PennyMac, AXA, Anna Money, Finom, and Bank of Valletta. Resistant AI now employs over 100 team members across its offices in Prague, London, and New York.
