Rebellions, a global leader in AI inference infrastructure, led by Sunghyun Park and the team, has raised $400 million in a pre-IPO funding round led by Mirae Asset Financial Group and the Korea National Growth Fund, following the company’s $250 million Series C in September 2025, bringing total funding to $850 million and valuing the company at approximately $2.34 billion.
With $650 million raised in the past six months, accounting for over 75% of its total funding, Rebellions is entering a new growth phase focused on U.S. expansion, scaled production of its Rebel100™ platform, and IPO readiness.
The move comes at a pivotal moment for AI infrastructure, where the challenge is shifting from model capability to efficiently and economically running AI systems at scale within data centers.
AI is increasingly judged by its ability to operate at scale in real-world conditions, within power limits and with clear economic returns, shifting focus toward inference infrastructure and the software that makes it usable, noted Sunghyun Park, Co-Founder and CEO of Rebellions. Success in this era depends not just on silicon, but on seamless integration with open-source ecosystems and enabling developers to build and deploy without friction.
This view reflects a broader industry shift toward infrastructure that can support production workloads immediately within existing data center constraints while delivering sustained performance over time.
Rebellions is expanding into the United States to meet rising demand for efficient, deployable AI infrastructure across cloud providers, neoclouds, telecom operators, and government initiatives. The expansion is led by Chief Business Officer Marshall Choy, who recently joined to drive global growth.
Efficiency is becoming as critical as access to compute in the U.S. market, with organizations seeking infrastructure that integrates with existing environments, extends current investments, and enables new AI-driven revenue opportunities, noted Marshall Choy.
Rebellions is taking a software-centric approach with a cloud-native AI stack built on Kubernetes and integrated with tools like PyTorch and Hugging Face, enabling scalable, high-performance inference.
By aligning with open-source ecosystems, the platform abstracts hardware complexity and allows flexible deployment across models and environments without vendor lock-in.
Rebellions extends its platform beyond silicon and software with RebelRack™ and RebelPOD™, fully integrated AI infrastructure systems available today. RebelRack provides a production-ready inference unit, while RebelPOD scales this into clustered deployments for large-scale AI workloads.
Built on the chiplet-based Rebel100™ NPU, these systems deliver modular, high-efficiency infrastructure optimized for performance-per-watt and cost, enabling deployment within real-world data center constraints.
Venture capital plays a key role in backing high-potential companies in the global race for AI leadership, noted Eung-Suk Kim, Vice Chairman and CEO of Mirae Asset Venture Investment. The firm has supported Rebellions since its Series A and continues to back the company as a strategic partner in demonstrating its capabilities on the global stage, including as the first company funded by the Korean National Growth Fund.
The Korea National Growth Fund, a public-private program supporting strategic industries like AI and semiconductors, participated in the round, selecting Rebellions as its first investment under the K-Nvidia initiative. This underscores Rebellions’ strategic role in Korea’s ambition to develop globally competitive AI leaders.
With strong capital, expanding global operations, and the next-generation Rebel platform, Rebellions is progressing toward a public offering. CEO Sunghyun Park emphasizes the goal of building durable AI infrastructure through long-term investment in software, systems, ecosystems, and hardware to enable scalable AI deployment.
