Qureight, developing enterprise-grade imaging and precision endpoints for clinical trials, led by Dr Muhunthan Thillai and the team, has raised $20 million in a Series B financing, led by Molten Ventures. Existing investors Hargreave Hale AIM VCT, XTX Ventures, Guinness Ventures, Meltwind, and Ascension also participated in the round.
The new funding will support the expansion of the company’s 3D deep learning imaging platform and accelerate commercial growth across new therapeutic markets, with a focus on improving diagnosis and care in areas including lung and cardiovascular diseases.
Qureight is using the new funding to build an AI imaging laboratory around its 3D chest imaging Foundation Model, designed to reduce the data and development time required to create new disease models. The company plans to expand its imaging analytics platform into areas including asthma, pulmonary hypertension, bronchiectasis, and drug-induced lung toxicity, complementing its existing lung fibrosis models. The investment will also support commercial expansion and growth of its regulatory-compliant clinical trial imaging platform.
The funding will also accelerate the development of Qureight’s AI-powered quantitative imaging analytics platform, designed to improve clinical trial speed, efficiency, and decision-making. The platform combines global imaging CRO services, AI-driven lung biomarkers that measure disease progression, and data science tools such as synthetic control arms to reduce trial costs and timelines. Already used by biopharma partners, Qureight’s technology provides real-time imaging insights and precision endpoints to support faster development of therapies for fibrotic lung diseases.
Qureight says the new financing will help it capture the growing lung and heart clinical trials market by expanding its end-to-end AI-powered imaging platform. The company will strengthen its 3D imaging deep learning models, launch a new AI imaging laboratory, enter additional disease areas, and scale its commercial capabilities. The funding also brings new strategic support from investors including Molten Ventures, with Dr. Inga Deakin and Anna Salim joining the company’s Board of Directors.
Investors believe Qureight demonstrates the potential of AI and real-world data to transform clinical research by enabling faster discovery and more efficient trial development. Molten Ventures highlights the company’s ability to rapidly deploy solutions in areas of unmet medical need and sees the team as well positioned to advance the next generation of medical innovation.
