Procure AI, the world’s first AI native Procurement Automation Platform, led by Konstantin von Büren, Yves Bauer, and Francesco Peroni, has secured $13 million in seed funding led by Headline, with participation from C4 Ventures and Futury Capital, as well as other notable angel investors from within the procurement industry.

Procurement teams are under pressure to do more with less. Operational complexity affects 47% of B2B buyers, while 90% of companies cite limited headcount, budget, and skills gaps as barriers to transformation. Rising costs, unpredictable deliveries, and complex compliance, exacerbated by US tariffs of up to 34%, have created a climate of uncertainty, driving urgent demand for intelligent automation.

The stakes are high: external supplier costs make up 60–75% of revenue for Fortune 500 and FTSE 350 companies, meaning even small efficiency gains can save billions. Hackett Group research shows AI-powered procurement can boost productivity, quality, and cost savings by up to 10%, while top-tier digital procurement teams using generative AI achieve up to 50% higher productivity and 47% lower process costs.

Founded by Konstantin von Bueren and Yves Bauer, Procure AI provides an end-to-end, AI-native procurement platform that drives measurable cost savings and operational efficiency. Unlike point solutions, it integrates and enriches fragmented procurement data across all workflows, delivering secure, autonomous solutions that address real procurement challenges without replacing existing systems.

Procure AI’s platform runs over 50 AI agents across three categories: autonomous agents executing tasks independently, collaborative agents supporting human decisions, and ambient agents providing proactive assistance. This architecture automates sourcing, contracting, purchasing, and invoice management. Key solutions include Autonomous Spot-Buy and Tactical Sourcing, reducing time by 35–46% and delivering 3.7–5.2% savings per event, and Quote-to-Order Intake, with 60% of requests processed autonomously.

Konstantin von Büren, Co-Founder and Co-CEO, said, “Procurement can no longer be a manual, people-intensive function. Clients need to handle 3x the sourcing volume with flat or declining headcount. AI agents operating autonomously, while ensuring compliance, are the only way forward.”

Co-CEO Yves Bauer added, “Most tools require enterprises to overhaul existing systems. Procure AI sits atop fragmented data, enriching it rather than replacing it, enabling ROI in months and positioning us as a true partner, not just another vendor.”

Procure AI has seen 4x revenue growth over the past year. Its 40+ team spans London, Paris, and Frankfurt, serving enterprise clients including EnBW and Kärcher. Customer results include up to 30% faster processing, over 5% additional savings, and an ROI showing €2.35M annual savings from autonomous sourcing for enterprises with €70M tail spend.

Dominic Wilhelm, Partner at Headline, said, “Most procurement AI tools solve isolated problems. Procure AI solves the system, tackling fragmented data and manual processes to deliver measurable ROI across the entire workflow, which is why enterprises like EnBW and Kärcher rely on it as their AI procurement platform.”

Pascal Cagni, Founder of C4 Ventures, said, “Konstantin and Yves have built a rare AI-native platform that rethinks procurement from the ground up. Achieving 4x revenue growth while driving technical innovation shows market validation and execution excellence. We’re backing a team with the vision to reshape the industry.”

With the new funding, Procure AI will expand its engineering and go-to-market teams, accelerating growth from the DACH region into the UK, Nordics, Benelux, and France. This comes as AI adoption in enterprises jumps to 78%, driving urgent demand for solutions that optimize sourcing, calculate landed costs, and navigate alternative supply channels, areas where Procure AI delivers immediate value.
