Perceptual Robotics, revolutionising Predictive Maintenance with AI-Powered Technology, led by Kostas Karachalios, Dimitris Nikolaidis, and Kevin Driscoll-Lind, has raised over £4 million in funding so far this year. The funding combines investment from new and existing shareholders (Investing for Purpose, Loggerhead Ventures and One Planet Capital) alongside support co-funded by Innovate UK, part of UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).

The new funding will support Perceptual Robotics' expansion across the wind industry by enhancing its product portfolio, strengthening its offshore capabilities, and growing its presence in existing and new markets. Since its previous funding round, the company has expanded internationally, serving customers across Europe, North America, and Latin America, with its inspection technology deployed on wind farms ranging from northern Sweden to the Caribbean.

Investors believe Perceptual Robotics has established strong momentum across both onshore and offshore wind, positioning the company to expand into new verticals over the coming years. The company's combination of technical expertise, commercial execution, and AI-powered inspection technology is helping wind operators improve asset reliability, operational efficiency, and maintenance workflows. By enabling safer and more effective management of renewable energy infrastructure, Perceptual Robotics is seen as playing an important role in strengthening the resilience of the global wind sector and supporting the broader clean energy transition as it scales internationally.

Perceptual Robotics says the new funding will accelerate the development of customer-driven products and strengthen the company's ability to meet growing demand. The investment provides additional resources to expand its technology platform and bring new capabilities to the wind industry more quickly.

Perceptual Robotics has shaped its technology through close collaboration with wind operators, service providers, and blade specialists, addressing challenges such as inspection speed, damage prioritization, and fleet management. These insights have driven innovations including autonomous inspection systems, AI-powered damage detection, the Repair Now Ratio, and platform integrations.

The new funding will help the company accelerate product development, expand its capabilities, and support more turbines globally, with the goal of helping wind operators extend asset lifetimes and maximize renewable energy generation.
