Neuraspace, leading the way for Space Domain Awareness, AI, and Safety, led by Chiara Manfletti and the team, has announced €15.6 million in new financing, combining strategic private investment from Lince Capital, Explorer Investments, and Armilar Venture Partners together with funding awarded under Portugal's Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRRP), reflecting strong private and public confidence in the company's growth strategy.

The funding will accelerate Neuraspace’s expansion across commercial and defence applications, with a focus on autonomous space operations, sovereign sensing infrastructure, and artificial intelligence.

The investment will expand Neuraspace’s AI platform, accelerate autonomous mission operations, strengthen its proprietary optical sensing infrastructure, and advance NeuraspaceDEF, the company’s dual-use capability supporting government and defence users with resilient Space Domain Awareness services.

Vasco Pereira Coutinho, CEO of Lince Capital, said that Neuraspace has established itself as one of Europe’s most promising space technology companies, combining strong technical execution with growing commercial traction in a market of increasing strategic importance. He added that the company is well positioned to become one of Europe’s leading providers of AI-enabled Space Domain Awareness and Space Traffic Management solutions.

The financing builds on Neuraspace’s rapid growth since its 2020 founding, including more than 350% revenue growth over the past year. The company now monitors over 600 satellites for commercial and institutional customers, including Spire Global, GEOSAT, NanoAvionics and the European Space Agency. Its defence portfolio includes contracts with the Portuguese Air Force and NATO, alongside a recent appointment as prime contractor by a European Ministry of Defence, reinforcing its position in dual-use space safety and security.

The investment comes as space becomes increasingly congested and contested, with operators facing rising collision risks alongside cyberattacks, radio-frequency interference, GNSS spoofing and jamming, and evolving counterspace threats.

Neuraspace combines commercial and sovereign sensor data with precision orbit determination, AI-driven risk and threat assessment, and autonomous decision support to help commercial, government and defence operators detect and respond to risks more rapidly. Its combination of sovereign sensing infrastructure and AI-enabled automation also supports Europe’s technological sovereignty and reduces reliance on external surveillance capabilities.

Chiara Manfletti, CEO of Neuraspace, said the company’s mission has evolved from making space safer to addressing both accidental risks and intentional threats. She noted that safety and security have become closely linked operational challenges as satellite activity and threats continue to grow.

The investment marks the next phase of Neuraspace’s growth, supporting the expansion of Europe’s sovereign Space Domain Awareness capabilities and AI-enabled operational services for commercial, institutional and defence missions.
