Nebius, building vertically integrated AI infrastructure that accelerates AI innovation globally and at scale, led by Arkady Volozh and the team, has announced an agreement to acquire Tavily, delivering high-quality, fresh, and structured web context, making it easy for agents to stay grounded as they scale from prototypes to production, led by Rotem Weiss and the team. The Tavily team, led by founder and CEO Rotem Weiss, will join Nebius and continue developing the Tavily product. Tavily will keep its brand, serve existing customers, and build new capabilities using Nebius’s global infrastructure and engineering resources.

The deal integrates real-time search infrastructure into Nebius’s AI cloud platform as agentic AI begins rapid enterprise adoption.

The acquisition supports Nebius’s goal of creating a unified platform for building, tuning, and running autonomous agents. Integrating Tavily’s agentic search into its AI cloud platform expands the software stack developers need for enterprise-grade agentic systems.

Tavily complements Nebius Token Factory: while Token Factory delivers high-performance inference for reasoning, Tavily provides real-time web access for factual accuracy. Together, they form the foundation for next-generation AI applications.

Adding agentic search gives Nebius customers the architecture to build autonomous agents that navigate the web, verify facts, and execute complex tasks, without relying on disparate third-party vendors.

Roman Chernin, co-founder and CBO of Nebius, said:

“We’re building a full platform for AI products and agents. Tavily’s agentic search integrates directly into our stack, letting developers focus on applications instead of managing vendors. Our goal is to empower everyone, from startups to enterprises, to own their AI destiny.”

Rotem Weiss, founder and CEO of Tavily, said:

“Tavily’s mission is to onboard the next billion AI agents to the web. Agentic search is a multi-billion-dollar opportunity, and enterprise adoption is set to grow rapidly. Partnering with Nebius accelerates our global scale and allows us to push the boundaries of what’s possible even faster.”

The agentic AI market is set to grow from $7 billion in 2025 to $140–200 billion by the early 2030s, with AI agents soon issuing more web queries than humans.

Tavily has strong product-market fit, with 3 million monthly SDK downloads and over one million developers, serving clients like IBM, Cohere, and Groq across finance, logistics, and enterprise operations.

The acquisition is expected to close in the coming weeks; terms were not disclosed.
