Led by a team with deep military experience and private technology expertise, including David Tuttle(CEO), Peter Goldsborough(Chief Technology Officer), and Kyle Haire(Head of Growth), Rune Tech raised $24 million in Series A led by Human Capital with participation from Pax VC and Washington Harbour Partners, as well as existing investors Andreessen Horowitz, Point72 Ventures, XYZ Venture Capital, and Forward Deployed VC, bringing Rune's total funds raised in the past year to over $30 million.

Rune’s TyrOS uses an edge-first architecture that embeds intelligence at the tactical level, allowing military systems to function independently without relying on constant connectivity. This shift enables real-time decision-making on the ground and seamless synchronization once communications resume.

Rune has deployed TyrOS with both the U.S. Army and Marine Corps, and plans to use new funding to accelerate these efforts and expand into additional military branches. Earlier this year, Rune was selected for the Palantir Startup Fellowship and integrated with Palantir’s Defense OSDK, enabling automated logistics from the tactical edge to the strategic level through open architecture.
