Lyte Raises $165 Million Series C Led by Maverick Silicon to Give Robots a Trustworthy View of the World

Lyte, the physical AI perception company led by Alexander Shpunt, Dr. Arman Hajati, and Dr. Yuval Gerson, has announced a $165 million Series C financing led by Maverick Silicon. The round values Lyte at $1.6 billion post-money. The round included Fidelity Management & Research Company, which led Lyte's Series B, along with Atreides Management, Key1 Capital, Ora Global (formerly Exor Ventures), and additional existing and new investors. Total capital raised since the company's founding in 2021 now stands at $272 million.

Lyte develops custom silicon, multimodal sensors, and spatial software that enable robots to understand their surroundings, with technology built in-house from the transistor up. Since emerging from stealth in January 2026, the company has entered production and begun shipping to robotics customers across inspection, logistics, and manufacturing. Its LyteVision™ platform won CES 2026 Best of Innovation in Robotics.

Lyte was founded by former Apple and PrimeSense engineers whose 3D perception work helped power Microsoft Kinect and later Face ID, reaching more than a billion people worldwide.
